Hi there! I’ll start off by introducing myself, just in case you don’t already know me. I’m Danielle, turned 25 yesterday actually, I’m a lover of all things horse, cow, and farm related. I’m engaged to my Best Friend, Kyle, also known as “The Cow Man”. Him and I are set to be married on November 19th of this year! We are also the proud parents of the most precious, four-legged babe this side of the Mississippi, Squaw.

I’ve always had a love for Agriculture from a very young age. I was raised on a Dairy Farm that was owned by my Grandfather, and I showed Livestock with all my cousins as well. Kyle was raised in a Rodeo family, and has been horseback since before he could walk. When he was 15 he started working for a local feed yard here in our two stoplight town, and the rest is history. Fast forward to 2022, Kyle is still working for that same yard, 11 years later, and running quite a few momma cows himself. Ag means so much to us because it is the future of our great nation. Without farmers there truly will not be food. And we are very thankful to be blessed with the opportunities that we have had to be part of that 1.3% of Americans that are Farmers and Ranchers. Don’t get me wrong, it is hard sometimes, like so hard. The long nights, the equipment repairs, the loss, the death. All of those things make you want to throw your hands up and walk away sometimes. But, then when you sit back and look at what you are doing for others and the difference you are making for the people around you, it is so worth it. As I project our futures, I want nothing more than to instill hard work, dedication, and determination in our future generations as well. “Blue collar” men truly are a dying breed and we need dirty hands and clean souls now more than ever. As I mentioned, yesterday was my 25th Birthday! And I have heard all my life that when you get older it just becomes another day, and boy is that true. But I set some goals for myself for year 25, and one of those was this Blog. I want to be BOLD, I want to be courageous and I want to speak up and share the things I am passionate about. So I truly hope this holds me accountable to meet those goals. If you have read this far and you’re along for year 25 as well, buckle up! But for now, Eat Beef and Pray for Rain! -a Cow Man’s Wife
